CONNEX Spring Bushings

 

CONNEX Spring Bushings are made of a high grade chrome-vanadium AISI 6150 spring steel. Thanks to the CONNEX slot design, CONNEX Spring Bushings possess the following characteristics:
  • The toothed slot produces a nearly closed contact surface in the slot area similar to a solid bushing
  • High seating capacity in the housing bore based on the CONNEX Principle
  • High wear resistance
  • Simple, economical installation and removal
  • Broader tolerance on the receiving bore
  • Reduction in fit and assembly time
  • Reduction of damaging material stresses

As a rule, spring bushings are used without lubrication. However, where noise reduction is a consideration, CONNEX Spring Bushings with grease grooves and holes are increasingly requested. Lubrication and higher precision help to improve the bearing life.
